Cuba and Barbara Torres Pompa

I started my journey in Cuba at a wonderful private house called Barbara Torres Pompa. The owners Barbara and Esteban were extremelly friendly and helpful people especially after my bags did not arrive on Air Cubana. They organised for them to be delivered to the house and spoke to all the officials as my Spanish is limited. They do not do not speak English but are very eager to help anyway. They know the area well and will offer information on places to see and also where to eat on a budget.

The house is very clean and safe. Located in a beautiful area that is a close to many attractions. Breakfast is offered at an additional 5 pesos. It consists of eggs, toast, frash fruit, coffy and juice. Very yum.

My experiance here was great and I ended up extending my stay by an additional 3 nights.
